PFA electrode is also called: PFA solid wire, soluble PTFE electrode, soluble PTFE solid wire
PFA electrodes are extruded from soluble polytetrafluoroethylene (PFA) granular material. There are two kinds of round and flat.
Mainly used for welding various plastics.
Welding skills:
1. Before welding, clean the adhered surface with acetone or ethanol solution and dry it.
2. Adopt "V" type or "x" type mouth for welding reinforced type
The welding surface of the workpiece is in contact with it, and the welding torch is at 45. The corner is close to the weldment, keeping a distance of 5~10mm from the welding surface, the strip transport speed is 60~80mm/min, and the welding wind pressure is 0.098~0.294MPa;
Use an inert gas as a medium to heat to 420~480C to melt the PTFE welding surface, and at the same time weld the electrodes together, and machine the weld to the required level after cooling.

PFA solid wire specifications, play the role of radial insulation. When the voltage exceeds 35,000 volts, insulation is added to the conductors through insulating tubes or cables. The conductor structure of the composite insulating sleeve has two kinds of cables and guide rods. Cables coming out of the transformer go straight through the bushing and are easy to install. When the working current is greater than 600A, the guide rod structure is generally used, and the Yangzhong PFA solid wire is difficult to install the cable thread structure. Capacitor bushing is composed of capacitor core, porcelain sleeve, metal accessories and conductor.
Its creep resistance and compressive strength are higher than PTFE, and its tensile strength is higher than that of PFA solid wire, and its elongation can reach 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance. Flame retardant performance reaches V0 level. It is suitable for the manufacture of corrosion-resistant parts, anti-friction parts, sealing parts, insulating parts and equipment parts. High-temperature wires, cable insulation, anti-corrosion equipment, sealing materials, pump valve sleeves, chemical containers. The insulating sleeve has better creep resistance and compressive strength than PTFE, and the tensile strength and elongation are as high as 100-300%; in addition, the environmentally friendly PFA insulating sleeve has good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance sex. PFA plastic is a small amount of perfluoropropyl perfluoroethylene ether and polytetrafluoroethylene copolymer. The melt viscosity increased and the solution viscosity decreased, but the properties did not change compared to PTFE. The resin can be directly processed by common thermoplastic molding processes.
Long-term use temperature -196--260 degrees, some chemical corrosion resistance, corrosion resistance to all chemicals, friction coefficient among plastics, and good electrical properties, its electrical insulation is not affected by temperature, there is " "King of Plastics". Its chemical resistance is similar to that of PTFE and better than that of vinylidene fluoride. Its creep resistance and compressive strength are better than PTFE, PFA solid wire, high tensile strength, elongation can reach 100-300%. Good dielectric properties and excellent radiation resistance. Flame retardancy up to V0 level.
